Kaden Lyle Neese

Well folks, he's here! Kaden did decide to stay head down so I didn't have to have a c-section. It was a long labor for me, 19 mins shy of 12 hours, but absolutely worth all the work. He is such a precious treasure already and so sweet. Ethan and Emily can't get enough of him! Here is a little video of some of our first week. Enjoy!

Well, all I can say is this is one busy little baby! When I had my regular check up on Monday Feb 23, the baby had turned to breech position again. Dr. Carter looked at me and told me that it was difficult enough to turn the baby when they did that it shouldn't have been able to turn again. So he scheduled me for a c-section on Friday March 13th. That's right folks, a Friday the 13th baby. But wait! The drama goes on.... I went to the doctor on Monday and the baby had turned back to head down! The doctor said there is an actual medical term for all the turning the baby is doing.... I've got my last scheduled appt with the Dr tomorrow, so we shall see if the baby has turned again. I'm still scheduled for a c-section on Friday, but if I get there and the baby is down they will just induce my labor, if the darling has turned yet again, I get sliced open! I'm hoping for a head down finale! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Ethan's Baptism

Drama, Drama, Drama.....

Well we've had a very eventful February so far! I moved salons after nearly 11 years at Outer Image and have to say, I'm much happier! Should have done it long ago! Then Ethan was baptized on Valentines day. My parents and grandparents were both able to come. It was a very busy day and we are so proud of Ethan! Then on the 16th I went for my regular prenatal check up and much to my surprise, we discovered the baby was breech!! So I was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday for a cephalic version. A fancy way to say the Dr was going to try to turn the baby. Relief! The baby turned without much trouble. It only took 2 tries. Then on Wednesday, I had to go and be monitored for an hour. The Dr checked to see if the baby was still down and couldn't feel the head!!! Aaahhh. I nearly cried right there, and you all know how I LOVE to cry. So they fire up the ultrasound machine, and much to my relief, the head was still down. I don't think I've ever had a more stressful month in my life! Oh well, hopefully we won't have anymore drama for at least 4 weeks!

Getting Baptized!!!

So the purpose of the pictures below was to get a good one for Ethan's baptism announcement. Once again, Jenny is the master! She is a Photoshop Queen, and you all know I don't give the title of Queen to just anyone. She put this little gem together for me and I can take no credit for any of it. Thank you Jenny! You are MARVELOUS!

My dear friend Jenny took these pictures of my kids today...bless her. Why is it that when you WANT them to look sweet and smile, they refuse??? After much pleading, a splinter in Ethan's thumb, and of course the standard crying, Jenny was able to capture these shots. I'm sorry, but I have to say I have the DANG CUTEST KIDS EVER!

6 Weeks

Well folks. We have 6 weeks left until the baby is due and do I have ANYTHING done? No. Not a darn thing. Can we say panic mode? I do have a few things in place. Diapers, wipes, some onzies, and the all important jammies. A crib? Nope. Bottles? Nope. Sanity? Definitely not.

Happy Birthday Ethan!!

Well folks, Ethan is now 8 years old!! I can't stand it. Where did the time go? Here's a stunner.. When the new baby is Ethan's age, Ethan will be 16!!! I need smelling salts. He had a great birthday. He gave me an igloo shaped cake pan for Christmas, so I thought, what the heck. It's still winter, he likes cake....So he got an igloo cake for his birthday complete with powdered sugar "snow". I'm so proud of my boy. He is such a compassionate person. Ethan always is thinking about others and wanting to make sure they are ok. Most of the time I'm totally amazed at how kind and patient he is with Emily, so when he loses it with her I know she really deserved it! :)He loves anything that has to do with Star Wars and Legos and if they are Star Wars Legos, watch out! Anyway here is a picture of the boy with his cake.

All that is needed here is I was so upset with my child today, I forgot how to count backwards!!!! Sigh.

Charlie bit My finger

Oh my goodness! My friend Erin showed me this on her Iphone and I nearly peed my pants laughing. The best part is that it's a little British boy and the accent is what's so funny!
